The LEGO Ninjago Movie Movie Review
"Rent (Matinee for kids)"
1 Hour and 41 Minutes
THEATER SCREENED IN
I was a little worried that the third LEGO movie installment would start to feel a little stale now that the LEGO novelty has worn off. That worry was right. As a kids movie Ninjago is fine, however I didn't enjoy Ninjago as an adult as much as I did with the LEGO Batman Movie and the LEGO Movie. There is still some of the witty self-aware humor, although thankfully toned down a bit from the LEGO Batman Movie, but otherwise it tends to toe the line just around extra-cheesy too much. If you have kids it's a safe watch, they will likely enjoy it, otherwise it might be worthwhile to wait until its stream-able to check it out.
