Why do I Want to Build a Cabin in the Woods?

I think it would be interesting to explore this question and why this is a common daydream/fantasy of mine.

I like playing video games where you get to build a base-of-operations (Valheim, Minecraft, RTS games, etc.)

I watch YouTube videos of people building cabins or small structures.

I take books out of the library on how to build a cabin.

BUT WHY? Why do I like this? What is the desire behind it?

Is it escape? Is it purpose? Is it adventure?

Is this unique to me?

Solitude?

Manifest Destiny?
