“I had met Eric dye in early 2014, we had both attended the same college campus and had the same circle of friends. In spring of 2015, I was encouraged to contact Eric for a photo-shoot. Nervous and unwilling to be in front of a camera, I stood there for an hour or so in downtown Erie, Pennsylvania, afraid to see what I would look like afterwards. I remember sitting there with my jaw dropped when I saw that first initial unedited Dropbox photo of me when Eric had informed me the photos from our shoot were posted. He will say that it's because of my persona, personality, and ability to work with different scenery and poses, but I must implore you to believe that it had nothing to do with me, and everything to do with his gift with photo taking and editing. Eric is hands down one of the kindest, most dedicated artists I have come to know. His shoots are always filled with music playing in the background and a mutual understanding of creative professionalism. I am forever grateful for these shoots, for making me walk a little taller and smile a little bigger at strangers when I used to stare at my feet. What a special thing to be- someone with a true eye for stellar framework and an incredibly talented artist. I hope to see his work being used in magazines and art museums one day.”

Growing up in small town Erie and now living in New York City, my confidence took a downward shift in my early twenties, but shooting with Eric reminded me to be proud of where I come from and to embrace who I really am. Some of my favorite photos is a series of shots in the water at Elk Creek where I felt so comfortable and myself while working with Eric. He truly has an eye for photography from the lighting, to angles and editing. Eric is also timely and professional to work with, which makes for a great experience."
